Results now in for 5 Mile and Fun Run events.
The Didcot Five and associated 2 mile fun run took place on Sunday 13th July 2008. Thanks to all those who took part in the race and helped to organise it.
The men's race was won again by Paul Fernandez, with Vasily Zverev and Paul Jegou coming in second and third. Vasily was the first vet 40, Tim Hughes the first vet 50 and Allan Matthews the winner of the vet 60 category. In the women's race Rachael Elliott was the winner, with Frances Burge and Ros Knopp taking second and third. The vet 35 category was won by Ros Knopp, vet 45 by Liz Snook and vet 55 by Sheila Bailey.
Proceeds from the day will be donated to Oxford Children's Hospital and the Northmoor Trust.
We hope to see you at the next Didcot Five in July 2009.

Didcot Runners are an AAA affiliated running club. We are a friendly bunch and we welcome people of all abilities, including first time runners who are welcome to join the walk-run group. We meet in the reception 'coffee lounge' of the Willowbrook Leisure Centre, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7pm all year round. The Willowbrook Leisure Centre is located in Bowmont Water, off Avon Way on the Ladygrove estate.
