The Didcot 5
Congratulations to everybody who took part in the Didcot 5 and fun run on July 12th. We always do our best to guarantee sunshine but this year we managed to arrange a couple of showers too, to help everybody keep cool. The men's winner of the 5 mile race was Stephen Male of Oxford City AC in a time of 25.45, with Tim Triaynor coming in at 26.02 and Paul Fernandez at 26.47. The women's race was won by Michelle Sikes of Oxford University Cross Country Club in 27.57, with Diane Moore at 29.45 and Jo Tweed at 31.37. The first male in the fun run was Josh Beech in 12.00 and the first female Jennifer Sutherland in 14.06. We hope you all enjoyed the day and we hope to see you again next year. Thanks to everybody who helped organise the races.
